Born in 1970 to a family of music teachers, Sigita began playing the violin at the age of four, and attended and graduated from the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre (1988 - 1994). She has been a member of the Lithuanian State Symphony Orchestra since graduation, and has independently performed professionally with string quartets, and arranging music for various concerts over the course of her musical career.
In addition to orchestral work, Sigita has extensive experience as a solo violinist, performing for special events, weddings, funerals and music festivals. She is a classically trained master of her instrument with a warm and comforting presence.
